We also maintain experience with the workings of 42 U.S.C. §1988 (which provides for attorneys’ fees to be paid to a successful 42 U.S.C. §1983 plaintiff) and its interplay with Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 68 (Offer of Judgment) which can be used to reverse the fee shifting back onto the 42 U.S.C. §1983 plaintiff.

The Firm has litigated Fair Labor Standard Act class action lawsuits (29 U.S.C. §203, et seq.) for private companies engaged in the asbestos remediation business in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. The Firm has handled labor benefits claims under ERISA (29 U.S.C. §185) for private companies engaged in the construction industry in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, The Eastern District of New York and The Southern District of New York. The Firm has handled New Jersey and New York prevailing wage labor hearings.
